WANTED - SENIOR NEWS EDITORS

Uganda 's leading TV Station WBS TV is looking for Senior News Editors.

You should have:

•  A degree in Mass Communication, specializing in News Reporting and Script Editing.

•  Good experience in a media house at a senior editorial level.

•  Good verbal and written communication skills

•  Competent in I.T and basic computer packages.

•  Great organizational skills, strong attention to detail and able to effectively manage people and a high volume of work.

To plan, develop, organise, direct and control the human skills of the organisation and maintain effective working relationships and environmental standards, with various operational units for the effective teamwork and results.

You should have:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management/ Personnel Administration.

• Minimum of 3years practical experience in HRM in a busy commercial undertaking.

• Proactive managerial and leadership and leadership skills.

WANTED - PROGRAMMING ASSISTANT.

A person with high level of proffessionalism. The programming assistant is responsible for planning and scheduling appropriate broadcast programs, after screening sensive program materials and cordinating the schedules with other sister departments.

You should have:

• A bachelor's degree in mass communication majoring in journalism.

• Post graduate diploma in Television broadcasting especially editing and production.

• Minimum of 3years of supervisory experience in multi public / media company, project, management skills and computer knowledge especially media and programming packages.

• Skills in librarianship is added value.
