Entebbe golf club beats Jinja golfers

Entebbe Golf club has given Jinja golfers a bad reception in the newly introduced inter-club match play golf tournament held at Entebbe golf course. Entebbe youth golfers dominated the course after registering another win in the return leg 6 and half points against half a point.

Peter Lukwiya was 8 up with 7 holes to go on the 72 per course beating Abbey Bagalana, while current national champion Vincent Byamukama saw off Said Mawa after amassing 2 and half points.

Innocent Opio should count himself the luckiest golfer in the matchplay golf tournament, having beaten Fred Wazara on the 18 th hole going one up. Jinja's Opio Onito squared with Entebbe 's Steven Odong, with the duo sharing a point after the 18 th hole.

In other games, George Olayo was 5 up with 4 holes to go when he snatched a point over Onito Ociti, while the seven game saw Peter Sendaula leading by 5 up with 3 holes to go over Ian Odokonyero. After the return leg, Entebbe leads with 9 points against 2.
