UPDF golf team prepares for the world military Golf championship

As the Uganda peoples defense force golf team prepares for the world military Golf championship in Canada , a US based Ugandan William Wafula has donated golf equipments to UPDF.

Wafula handed over equipment worth 8 millions shillings to UPDF team captain Lt General Ivan Koreta at Kitante golf Course. A total of 10 players are currently undergoing training at the per 72 kitante Golf course.

Lt General Ivan Koreta stressed that this makes his team strong having performed well in last year's world event in Iraq .

Wafula revealed that his support came as away of the UPDF contribution towards ensuring peace in the country.

The team include national golfer Flavia Nabatanzi, Petra Nalwanga and Abas Serugo, Aloysius Kimera in the men's team.
