Wavah water donates to Ndejje University

Wavah Water Limited has donated 100 cartons of mineral water to Ndejje University towards wood ball sport launching in Kampala.

The donation, worth over 2 million shillings, was handed over by the Wavah Water Marketing Manager, Rachael Asiimwe to Ndejje University Assistant Sports Tutor, Muhumuza, at a function held at Uganda Manufacturers Association Show Ground in Kampala.

Ndejje University is slated to organize a wood ball clinic to introduce the new sport to Primary and
Secondary schools in Kampala and its suburbs, on April 26 2008 at Lugogo cricket ground.

The clinic will be followed by a championship for all participating teams and universities the next day, April 27 at the same venue.

The Marketing Manager, Racheal Asiimwe says the contribution is geared towards giving some of the
company's profits back to the community.

She says Wavah water is ready to assist in developing sports in the country, especially in encouraging the youth, the future stars.
