Ibrahim Sekajja, Kizito and Kasule out of Benin trip

Uganda Cranes fly out to Benin to night without team captain Ibrahim Sekajja, Nestroy Kizito and Noah Babadi Kasule for the Saturday game against Benin. Sekajja has been ruled out of the Benin game with a thigh injury and so is Badadi Kasule.

The two picked injuries in Cranes 1-0 triumph over Niger at Namboole last weekend. Only Nestroy Kizito is out for family problems but coach Laszlo Csaba says it's a big blow but they will put up a good display in Benin.

KCC midfielder Owen Kasule will also not make the trip. Sulaman Tenywa might be asked to step in the midfield with Andy Mwesigwa replacing Sekajja.

Cranes need a win to brighten their chances of topping the group or finishing among the best eight. Uganda now lies second on table with 3 points only separated by two goals with leaders Angola.
