Uganda
's U-19 leave for Kigali

Uganda 's U-19 cricketers left Kigali yesterday, walking with a swagger and chest thumping, after leaving Rwanda seniors with many unanswered questions during the short 3-day tour.

Rwanda 's preparing for the Division 4 International Cricket Council, World Cricket League in Johannesburg, South Africa later this month and was using the tour friendlies as a tune-up.

The Ugandan youngsters lost the Twenty20 contest to Rwanda by 18 runs, dug themselves out of the hole with a magnificent display to dismiss their hosts by 194 runs in the One Day International.

Tail-enders Daniel Batuwa (42), John Tumusiime (38) and opener Ham Kayondo (33) guided Uganda to an imposing total of 233 in the allotted 50 overs before the experienced duo of Ronald Ssemanda (7 wickets) and Jonathan Ssebanja (3 wickets) bowled out the dejected Rwandan outfit for a paltry 39 runs. Dennis Mukama was Rwanda 's top scorer with 5 runs.
