URA for CECAFA semi finals

Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club has romped to the semi finals of the CECAFA Championship in Tanzania where they will take on Simba Sports Club.

Enroute to the next round, URA thumped Miembeni by two goals to nothing in a match that left the Tax Collectors with 10 men after Tony Mawejje got marching orders in the second half.

URA went into the lead through Ismail Kigozi in the 7 th minute of the first half after connecting Dan Wagaluka's cross. Sam Mubiru sealed URA's win with a spectacular off Tonny Mawejje's cross in the 71 st minute of the game.

In another match,Simba Sports Club of Tanzania whipped defending champions APR FC of Rwanda by two goals to nil.
